Background: Billy Sawknot was a normal 4th grader in his elementary school back on Alternate Earth. Billy's Alternate Earth was exactly like this one except everybody took public transportation everywhere and no one owned private vehicles. But Billy was frustrated by his teachers and homework and the bullies and so forth, and when he would find himself alone in his room at night, he'd let his frustration grow into hate, and his hate into a psychotic dream of vengeance. Billy discovered that, by putting himself in a trance, he could bring out a spectral apparition, a manifestation of his psyche as a supervillain. He proceeded to slaughter those who had angered him, as well as their families and anyone who might oppose Pirate Ghost. When morning came, the city was shocked by the mayhem, and an intensive murder investigation began, focusing on closed circuit footage of the monster the press dubbed Pirate Ghost. Since the bizarre appearance of the specter did not match Billy's sandy hair and puppy dog eyes, no one suspected the boy. He went to sleep the next night with a gloating smirk on his face. Eventually the Green Sphinx took note of the boy's psychic power and recruited him for his team.
Personality: Billy is not evil, just sensitive to being slighted. He doesn't like when people tell him what to do or boss him around just because he's a kid. He's may be sullen and cooperative in a group of adults, unless someone takes the time to reassure him that the group respects him.
